On Tuesday, January 26, 2022, In Columbus Junction, Iowa. During a City council meeting, Maria Romero shows the photograph of her daughter who died from COVID-19 in April 2020. She and other essential excluded workers from the Meat Packing Plant Tyson are asking for economical relief from the ARPA funds (The American Rescue Plan Act) to help them alíviate some of the expenses and behind payments of rent, medical, funeral, and other behind bills, due to the extreme effects of COVID-19 on the Latinx community.
